Who can participate in this training program?

his program is open to all interested individuals, with special focus on Indigenous youth and communities. The training is designed to be accessible for those with basic mechanical aptitude.

What is the time commitment?

The online portion requires approximately 6-8 hours to complete. The hands-on training day is a full 6-8 hour session.

Do I need prior experience with boats or electrical systems?

No prior experience is required. Our curriculum starts with the fundamentals and builds progressively.

How do I sign up for the hands-on training session?

After completing the online modules, you'll receive information about upcoming hands-on training sessions in your area.

Is there a cost to participate?

The training is provided free of charge [6months]  for Indigenous participants, supported by our NRCAN funding initiative.
